2007 Volunteer Days at Cedarburg Bog

Can you help build boardwalk in Cedarburg Bog?

The UWM Field Station and Friends of Cedarburg Bog are rebuilding the last section of boardwalk in the heart of the Cedarburg Bog.  We need volunteers who:

Can do physical work carrying tools and boardwalk sections, or

Have some carpentry or construction experience, or

If you want to bring something for refreshments or lunch, please let Jim know.

Workdays are planned for:

    Saturday, 27 October, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

    Sunday, 28 October, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

    Saturday, 3 November, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

    Sunday, 4 November, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

We are also very interested in anyone who may be able to volunteer at the Field Station during the regular Monday – Friday work week during the next 3 to 4 weeks.
Please join us, and learn more about volunteer opportunities with FOCB.   Call the Field Station at (262) 675-6844 or send an email to jimr@uwm.edu to register.
